Type 3 is organized around the desire to be valuable, successful, admirable, and effective. Threes often adapt themselves toward goals, recognition, competence, and visible achievement. They are usually highly aware of how they are perceived.
Their strength is drive. They can be efficient, charismatic, ambitious, practical, and excellent at turning potential into results. At their best, they inspire others by embodying confidence and capability.
Their difficulty is identification with performance. Threes may confuse who they are with what they accomplish or how they appear. They can become image-conscious, competitive, emotionally disconnected, or afraid of failure because failure threatens their sense of worth.
A Type 3 might think: "If I succeed, I will be valuable."
